Charapak Gold is a Successive Triumph

Leading Corrugated packaging & display manufacturer Charapak has secured a second successive Gold Award in the annual annual EFTA (European Flexographic Technical Association) print awards.
The competition offers participating companies the opportunity to gain public recognition of their achievements and to demonstrate the outstanding degree of excellence that the flexographic process can deliver. The awards were presented by the broadcaster Tony Hawks at a Gala Dinner at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Charapak took Gold for the second year running in the uncoated Line/Screen category for 2k Polymer systems Sikabond Q-300 high performance adhesive carton.
The winning print is produced on a Cuir Rotaflexo Mk2, printed in 3 colours, combining line/tone and block print onto an uncoated white kraft substrate. To achieve a high quality finish requires exceptional press control, clean reversed lines, flawless coverage on block areas, accurate registration, good repro, quality printing plates, monitored inks and suitable anilox rolls not to mention highly trained and knowledgeable operators.
